Ozzy Osbourne, “The Prince of Darkness” has had a difficult road to recovery after a succession of health issues this year. It all started with pneumonia at the beginning of the year. As Ozzy was recovering and gearing up for his “No More Tears 2” tour when he succumbed to a fall in the middle of the night hitting his head on a bedside table. His injuries resulting from the fall aggravated an old injury from an ATV accident years prior. His injuries moved the metal rods that were screwed into his bones sending Ozzy to the hospital to repair the damage.
Sharon, the angel by his side, told viewers on Monday’s episode of “The Talk”
“Probably this year has been the toughest year of my life. My husband’s illness,” she began. “His accident has been absolutely devastating to me, to everybody. And it’s definitely been the toughest ride I’ve had so far and I hope the only tough ride. I can’t take any more.”
The mega rock star had to cancel his North American tour “No More Tears 2” that was scheduled for this year. Ozzy has however announced the rescheduled North American tour dates to begin in May of 2020.
The couple has been married for over 36 years. Sharon, being Ozzy’s professional manager for the better part of their time together. Sharon has stuck by her husband through “Better or worse and in sickness and in health”, this much is clear.
American rock and metal fans first got a glimpse in the mega rock star couple’s lives when MTV released a reality show called.
“The Osbournes” in March of 2002. The show ran for four seasons until March of 2005. The show exposed intimate details of the rock family’s lives. From temper tantrums thrown by Kelly, one of the rock couple’s three children, to Ozzy’s disastrous attempt at dying his own hair. The show also exposed an even more intimate light on the already known drug and alcohol addiction that Ozzy has been known to battle with over the years.
With his past of drug addiction, Ozzy has jumped on the “Crazy Train” of CBD’s to help aid in his recovery from his recent injuries. Sharon said, in a recent interview with Loose Women, “He’s off all of those painkillers. He had to have it after he was operated on the last time but now for pain, he has that CBD oil — whatever it’s called — and he’s dealing with it that way,” Sharon, also told Loose women, “He’s in terrible pain and his pain is, he’s not good at being at home. He prefers to be back with his band and he’s pining and it’s really—the challenge is not his injuries, its state of mind and keeping positive.”
Sharon has been a strong driving force in her husband’s career and has been there for Ozzy throughout the years. She is the angel, by the side of this “Prince of Darkness”.
